Assad denies use of chemical weapons

Syria’s president, Bashar-al Assad, has said that reports of a chemical weapons attack by his forces were “100% fabricated”.

In an exclusive interview with AFP, filmed by the Syrian presidency, he said that his country doesn’t have chemical

weapons and that it was an excuse for the United States to attack his country.
